About the Artist:
Hello! I’m Amanda and I am a proud member of the Sault Ste Marie tribe of Chippewa Indians. My husband Seth and I have two amazing children ages 2 and 9. One of my greatest passions is creative art in a variety of mediums. Some of my favorite mediums to work with are acrylics, watercolors, digital media and clay. Art history and contemporary design have influenced the works that I create. I feel that the potential to design and create is unique to each person and that everyone is capable of bringing their own ideas to life through art. Some of my proudest accomplishments include Public Art murals, logo design and being a featured artist at a community art show. I’m looking forward to teaching painting class at the comet theater this fall!
