Penny Drive to Adopt a Bear!

 The American Bear Association - Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary has designed a program to provide  the opportunity for all schools, elementary through high school, to adopt the bear(s) of their choice.  Simply provide a jar or other receptacle for coins that students may use for their contributions.

      * No set amount is required.
      *The teacher and/or other person in charge should set a time limit.
      * Please use the Adopt-a-Bear page on our website to select your bear(s). Click here to see a list.
      * Upon receipt of your donation, a photograph of the bear you have adopted, and an adoption         certificate will be sent to you.

            IDEA: One school printed out pictures from the web page of 5 adoptable bears.
                  The pictures were affixed to the coin containers and students "voted" for their
                  choice of bear by dropping coins into the respective jars.
